Re: Victorian wall hanging circus astrology game machine
I did leave a mid 500 bid on this, so it wouldn't have been that cheap if you hadn't bid. Funny thing was I left much more on it first time around.

Re: OK, let's talk RARE one arm bandits....
The two you have pictured are not particularly rare. It was the Victoria C (I think it's a C) with escalator I thought was rare. The escalator is quite different to the normal chain driven affair.

Re: OK, let's talk RARE one arm bandits....
I own that machine. Unfortunately someone had started to strip it. I left it for years as I liked it as it was. Then had room for it in the arcade so did strip the rest of the paint off. Then had a new reward card made. Obviously I left the original strips on as they are amazing tinplate strips date...

Re: Edgerton Double Loop identified
Hi Daveslot. Did you source some composite balls or are using chrome/stainless steel? If the former could you let know where from? Also could you possibly upload a picture of the mechanism? Be great to see full picture of your machine. I had a few vintage composite balls in stock. There's 2 picture...

Re: Edgerton Double Loop identified
Thanks for that, had a chance to look at mine and it can hold 3 balls in reserve and has another to play the game. I presume only 1 ball is delivered for 1d. Also it would not play with 9/16"balls, the reserve needed larger balls to fill the space, so I used 5/8" and now it works fine.

Oh! Jentzsch & Meerz, I was thinking that it was Schwarz as it's got a badge featuring an acorn and leaves, like on the Schwarz top casting.

Does anyone know what that little glass window is on the top left of the front of the machine? Normaly is a small numbered disc (2 ,4,8,12,16,20), driven by some gears from payout unit, behind the window. It shows the value of last profit. In 99% the parts a missing. I knew only 2 machines that sti...

I have no idea where it came from. But I've cleared lots of arcades in the past and it was amongst that lot.
