Re: Columbia DeLuxe Jackpot Setup

Just bought another from the US. It's not running but I quite like these mechanisms so will be a challenge to get it working again.
If anybody knows of anyone with spares I'm looking for the carousel cover and the coin chute as a start.

Re: Columbia DeLuxe Jackpot Setup

Ok, just to update anyone who’s interested, I managed to work out how the jackpot mechanism should be fitted. The photo below shows the correct set up and the jackpot now works and re-sets itself perfectly. When I got the machine, this black bracket was not fitted into the pivot pin and was also bent.

Re: Columbia DeLuxe Jackpot Setup

BP, the money box easily pushes the retaining arm out of the way. In the photos the first set up is the same as Coppins photo, the second set up is how mine was. The first set up holds the jackpot in place when the retaining arm is lifted by the money box. The second set up does not appear to hold t...

Columbia DeLuxe Jackpot Setup

I bought this little Columbia Deluxe recently and it all worked fine until I forced a jackpot with the mechanism out of the case. All worked fine, but when putting the mech back into the case, I cannot get the jackpot to fall again. On the following photo you can see the push rod which I believe hol...

Re: Job lot at auction

Most of the machines were bought by phone bidders, I would like to see their faces when they find out the condition of what they bought. I went with the intention of buying but silly prices for the condition. But I guess I now know what Treefrog looks like!

Agree, I see names on here of people who have a great depth of knowledge and wonder if I’ve spoken to them at the auctions as I’d like to ask them more. I only know Jerry and Jeremy.

Re: Elephant House Auctions

In reply to GM. Work it out. I don't think Gloria does have bids on the book. I think it's probably just a way of using a reserve price to push the bids up. Sometimes the book appears to win but the item turns out to be unsold. Steve has all the commission bids but why does he have to control every...

Excellent job,
I’d love to make a coin pusher, shame you don’t have any drawings or designs to share.
