Re: Bally Money Honey Slot machine needs help!

Re: Bally gold award fruit machine help

A quick look - decals say 1p. Why do you think it's 2p?
You have two solenoids (payout ) tubes missing; one for the coins in and one for the token pay.
Is it worth restoring? I don't know, but I don't think I would bother.

Re: Artwork for machine glasses

I don't think they're vinyl stickers for mirrors. As I say, they make stickers (normally football badges) to stick inside car rear windows.
Etching and lasering is fine on high end machines but is it an economical solution for a run of the mill low value machine that requires new artwork?

Re: Mirror artwork

I'm on my phone so can't post much. I managed to find they're based in Leicester. I couldn't see a website for them but Stuart Dale likes them. I will message the guy to see if they have a web page but I do have an email address. Also, for the younger members, you can find them on Facebook under &qu...

Artwork for machine mirror glasses

Hi, Don't know if anyone else has seen or knows of this company, they appeared on my facebook the other day, called Wall Art Shop . I did message him about making transfers for machine glass as they do mirror transfers. The guy has asked for an image and size but I have nothing ready to do yet. I wo...

Re: Bally Lucky Stars identified

Is it all working now? Payout fine? 5 goes for 10p working? You can't beat a Bally bandit - much more interesting than all the others. If you feel like it, get yourself over to newlifegames - look for the electromechanical forum. You can join the new site or look at the old one. You'll find answers ...

Re: Rex Rotor problem

If I read this right, the machine is tripping the RCD in the house before blowing the fuse.
If it is, you have probably got a neutral to earth fault occurring.
An overcurrent fault should take either the trip or the plug fuse out.

Timmo, How much of a project are you looking for? I have a couple of Ballys that I might be willing to part with. Two are almost finished projects and one is a complete start and I can't recall what the last one is. !PUZZLED! I am just outside Portsmouth. I would be willing to part with one to the r...

Make your own parts

I was reading yesterday how scientists are now able to 3d print with metals. How long before we can all have access to this technology? It was not long ago 3d plastic was new technology, now look how far it's come. Just think, the ability to print out new parts for your beloved relics. !!THUMBSX2!!

Shipping from Dublin

Just wondering if any members knew of the cheapest way to have something shipped from Dublin. Said item is £250, the weight is, say, about 85kg. Looked at collecting myself, but the ferry was £295 return, so wondering if anyone knew of a regular traveller who might bring said item over. I could coll...

Re: New Addition - Bally Sir Prize

I'm just off to work, doing a late shift tonight, but, without getting my book out, they determine the length and order of stopping. If you move each bar 1 hole forward, you will see. You can always move them back. Is there a definite touching to the bottom plate? The springs should pull those lever...
