I gave it a new lease of life.

Re: Oh Boy Gum vending machine
Never seen another. I bought mine many years ago. The graphics were so poor that I could hardly work out the picture of the boy. It wasn't until I came across a picture on the net a few years later that I figured it out.

Re: Hubba Bubba vending machine
I've had a couple of these machines over the years. Both mine have been white in colour working on old penny. Not sure you can date by colour. The machine is the same as are the graphics, I think. Just checked the one I have on the wall and I'm missing that frame for the glass too. I attached a piec...

Re: LocWil Paper Hand Towels Vending Machine
Good morning.. I have been fortunate to have a number of these machines over the years. Mainly Southalls but have seen this type of machine vend cigarettes too. I accidentally left one down the side of my shed one winter and when I realised in the spring it had completely fallen apart. There's not m...

Re: Vintage Rowntrees Aero chocolate vending machine
I don’t think that machine has been previously restored. The yellow machine is a colour that Fisholow used for a number of their machines. Milky Way , Polo etc. I think the original graphics would have had the brown bar but with age it’s faded. I’ve never seen an Aero in this machine before. If anyo...

Re: Sweetmeat & Nestlé's vendors
The clever mechanism you mention Neil, I have only ever seen in Kodak Machines of that era and on some of the larger floor machines.
I'm slowly being dragged back into vending after fighting the urge and going cold turkey for a while now..
Got to resist the temptation.

Re: Sweetmeat & Nestlé's vendors
I've seen that picture of the double Nestle Vendor at Hatch End on a number of occasions. In fact I probably have it saved on my computer somewhere. However, looking at it again today I noticed for the first time the wonderful Fry's Machine on the right of the picture. I have that style of machine i...

Re: Harper cigarette machine
That's a good looking machine and what's more, it comes with its history too. If you do manage to get the front off, inside it should have a certificate that will tell you who checked it before it left the factory and what date that was.

Re: Elephant House Auctions
For me it’s the same thing that pops up everytime this subject comes up. I have been to my fair share of Coventry Auctions over the years and it’s the hanging around and waiting to pay after the auction that puts me off. I’m aware of the counter argument of it being an opportunity to mingle and netw...

Re: BAC Medicine Vending Machine
One of my favourite machines. I was thinking that the machine was designed to be in the more salubrious location. A hotel lobby perhaps. Rather than left unattended on a railway platform. Wouldn't take much to pop the locks on her and make off with the goodies as well as the money.

Re: Coin mechanism
Hi Ya... I have something very similar to what you have in the picture on a 1D. Which I think might be adaptable to what you have there.
If you contact me off forum I can send a picture. I have a box full in different denominations so you are welcome to one to try..
