Re: Aristocrat Clubman & Clubmaster

If you look a few pages earlier, you will see this machine, which was badged the New Clubman. The only difference is that this machine has the coin entry from “The Aristocrat”. Shame it is missing the trim on the lower casting. I would say this predates the Clubmaster we know, and may have been the ...

Re: Unidentified Items

Never ceases to amaze me the number of unusual shaped cash boxes that come up, especially at collectors sales where no one knows what machine they belong to. I guess the older collectors who see these, maybe don’t know themselves, because the cash boxes are already missing on machines they own……. Th...

Re: Ball catcher wanted for my Oliver Whales Spangles allwin

I am sure you could make something to do the job out of scrap metal to achieve the same job, but if you have the broken part, it looks brass and should be possible to braze together as I cannot see this getting high stress. Re: Allwin Double Your Money

I've got 2 locks with no keys and I'm just in the process of trying to fix one. I bought 2 blanks and I've split the lock by grinding off the 2 tabs. Its a very simple 2 lever mechanism but I can see there are a variety of combinations and its going to be quite a precise job to get the right degree...

Re: 50p coins sell for more than their face value due to errors

People are mad. For some reason 50p coins have become a thing for worn out and not that rare coins, all because of hearsay. Reminds me of the supposed rare 20p coin with the wrong year on. They still sell for loads on eBay and were made in their 100,000s... proper rare coins, real collectors collect...

Re: Lord Sega on 3d coinage

I have always assumed that 3D conversions of machines to the 12d payout using two slides and token vendors were after market changes, rather than factory made. Yes you would need a 3D S10, or somehow botch it to fit the coin, so in other words pass through. I have a few S10s but never seen a 3D one....
