Re: Automatic Sports Co. Cricketer at HutchinsonScott

I'm amazed a Cricketer was still being operated so 'recently', yooser27. Great to hear those memories. Yes, do quiz your brother. !THUMBS!

Re: ID which brand/model is this allwin ?

Judging by the radio silence, you have us stumped with this one bamsefar1. It has some things in common with a BMco allwin, but not much, and it has some things in common with a Saxony allwin. I can't even decide if it's German or British, but leaning towards British, partly because of the scrolled ...

Re: BMCo 5 Cup

Interesting little allwin which has certainly seen some changes. The door's been darkened to match the new cabinet, which doesn't conform to BMCo's design, nor do the tracks and trigger stop, the backflash appears to have been replaced, and the 'small bulbs' look like LEDs. Apart from that, and the ...

Re: Automatic Sports Co. Cricketer at HutchinsonScott

I put the above images through a Photoshop filter which made the colour more palatable. It's more lime in the original pictures - definitely not my favourite shade of green. Still, if you can afford the machine, you can afford a can of paint. Or maybe not by the time you've paid the commission.

Re: Saleroom roundups

 It does look good as a planter. It was the coolest slot machine in the sale I thought, and by far the most stylish Waltonian design. Maybe worth £110+ I don't know why it was catalogued as Birmingham made when it clearly has Blackpool on the front casting. I seem to recall someone has one of t...

Re: Saleroom roundups

Results from Spicers sale of Arcadia, Fine Art, Antiques and Studio Pottery in the Arena . This East Yorkshire sale, which included remnants of the late John Gresham's collection, appears to have garnered some press and radio interest, although I only spotted it on thesaleroom.com a couple of days a...
