Re: Mini Sega not paying out
If it’s stuck in, then there is a jam in the mech somewhere, as when pulling the coin pay out cranks the mech.

Re: Mini Sega not paying out
Payout adjustment is by the part that looks like steps , and if you screw it up you will take ages to get it right again, tiny adjustments at a time until you get it right

Re: Mini Sega not paying out
The one you're referring to with the damaged back door is actually mine I have for sale haha.
Try what bp says - turn it upside down, but I don’t think that’s going to be the problem. Also. no slides in these to jam up so it’s not a slide problem.

Re: Mini Sega not paying out
Most likely a coin jam or the payout pin is not moving along the shaft and into the reels. These are a very complicated mech to strip even just to get to the coin tube.
If you take the mech out, and have a look what’s happening when you're playing, it may give you an idea.

Thanks for the help, and I agree with Roger about it being dolled up lol, that's exactly what I'm busy doing to it.

Re: Shooting game identification
No lights Paul, and it's spun by a spring mechanism. Very well thought out. The birds are white and they can be seen no problem.

Re: Shooting game identification
I have a Duck Hunt and this is totally different. Where Duck Hunt has static ducks you fire a coin at, but this one has spinning birds that go past the window. It was kind of half working but I will get it working. The targets are hit by very thin rods from the gun. Very tricky by the looks of it.

Re: Sega Bell Slot Lucky Devil Restoration
On the Lucky Horseshoe, which is basically the same. you got about 4 to 5 pulls before the timer ran out.
Maybe someone has bent the vertical finger to stop it from paying out on a win. It should contact them when fully pulled in and allow them to pay out the set amount.

Re: Jubilee Riviera chrome
I paint them with Hammerite and they normally turn out half decent. I also paint the Aristocrats when chrome is beyond it and they normally turn out good with a bit of time spent on them. I have to admit I do go a bit radical on the colours haha but I like to be different.

Re: Caille 4 reeler
I kind of worked out that’s what the thin bit of copper is for , works a bit like a slipping clutch , I stripped the complete mech down for cleaning anyways so will see how it goes after the rebuild , nice quality mechs as well

Re: Caille 4 reeler
Seems to be a free spinning reel, maybe it just works off the first reel and it’s not meant to spin fast? All there is is a shaft and a little copper strip.

Re: Caille 4 reeler
There had to be a way of making it spin though. There is no disc for it, like you say, so nothing to spin it.

Does anyone know what makes the first reel spin on one of these? It's not connected to anything.

Re: Schwarz Bandit - Silent Doppel - Jackpot
I've just had half a dozen messages and more photos exchanged with the vendor; seems a nice guy. We'll see if he adds them to his description. You've seen one recently Tom, in my front room, remember? tura-bell.jpg The paint bothers me as he's used a metallic spray and then laquered it. Could be a ...
