Re: Tom the remake
Um, think I'll keep the balls playing side for the next one, depending on what comes in.

Re: tom the remake
That's a good looking machine.
Any pictures of the workings?
Thinking of making a matching range with different fronts.

Re: Australian collection in the news
The Answerite is great. Are there other versions of that? like the 6 draw calendar card giver. I've seen a few different versions of the draw arrangement, with different fronts, that all look good but basically do very little.
Nice collection.
Nice collection.

Making mirror signs
Can anybody advise where to have a reverse painted mirror sign made for a palm reader?
Mine is in a sorry state - the silver has disintegrated and the gold lettering has flaked off.

It should be fun rebuilding this - it's in a right state and missing a fair bit.

Re: Komonsteve horse race help
I'm looking for a picture of the wires that are over the ball holes, top row. Very fine wire, bent to a point, off any machine that has them. I have loads of perspex and toughened glass would be expensive. Whoever buys it can change it if they want. A couple of screws and slide it out. Any idea as t...

Re: Komonsteve horse race help
I've cleaned and de-rusted the metal work, repainted the frame, greased all the moving bits and replaced the wooden ball catching base. I've made a case of solid mahogany with some original brass angle, some new copied transfer images and perspex for the glass. What I'm missing is the playing field ...
