I used to visit Canvey and the Peerless Playdium amongst others in its heyday. I used to love it until they built that big wall on the front. I do feel very privileged to have been there in the early 70’s. Such a shame there aren’t more photos of the arcade though.

The commission in this sale was 15% plus vat plus 20% on hammer price plus 5.94% saleroom charge total 43.94% !!!
