Re: What's the name of this Jubilee bandit?

Changing the reels might not mean correct payouts. Also you will need a top glass as well as the belly glass.

Re: Watling Reel Strips

Changing strips is not as easy as it would seem - please take a look at my post A beginners' guide to changing reel strips Print your backups on good quality silk finish photo paper, A3 and join with double sided sticky tape. They will be as good as the originals and help to adjust the length. Are a...

Re: restoration

Hi Jill, welcome
Shouldn't be a problem, a lot of us have or have had Bingoletts.
As Slotalot says, we need to know where you are, see some photos, You say restoration - do you mean Case, Electrics or perhaps both? The real difficult part of the Bingolett is the glass, very hard to replace.

Re: Interesting and very hopeful reply from my MP

The pressure is building in, I think, just the right way. I think we might just be in luck.

I was granted my single machine permit yesterday but it hasn't arrived yet. I will publish the format as soon as it does.

Re: Newbe with what I thought was unknown machine

Wait till you get your first Mills or Sega machine - you will compare the two mechs and and realize that aliens did visit Chicago in the 1930s and bring advanced technology the like of which has never been bettered

Re: What's the name of this Jubilee bandit?

I don't think this machine went into use as a Mini Maxi, although it may have been made as one. I think it was adapted by the operator at some time with a different mech and a replacement glass. Two questions: What coin does it use? And does it pay Tic Tac Toe in any position in the window?

By the way, I have been told that Tesco meatballs are the dog's bollocks
You can get the best of both worlds in the "Tesco's finest" range both larger and juicer - look for the "geldings Goolies" label !COOLGUY!

Re: Newbe with what I thought was unknown machine

Welcome to the biggest and best slot forum on the net, without question. A few better photos and closer up and we can certainly tell you quite a bit about it. As far as I can see, this looks like an English machine with a German mech. This was very common in the late '50s and '60s. Germany was allow...

I believe that urban_paranoia's time frame excuses are totally unacceptable and that as his accounting year begins on 1st Jan 2013 that some sort of tax scam might be at the bottom of it, I suggest that a full working commity be set up in ..lets say.. the Cayman Islands with a six month mandate to e...

Re: Ebid v Ebay

ive tried loads of times think its trying to get me to part with some money to upgrade to seller+ I dont think thats likely as most sellers seem to be on the standard plan. The seller+ plan would be by far the best bet at £49.50 for no charges ever(the last machine I sold on ebay the fees were £40)...

Re: Lance Armstrong - Legend? Or lying cheating tw@?

As for Armstrong, I think him a liar and a cheat who should face total disgrace, his comment that his only regret is getting caught says it all. Of course the huge money to be made in modern sport puts a lot of pressure on athletes to cheat. Long gone are the days of only Amateurs at Wimbledon and t...

I see Treefrog will reach 1000 post by tomorrow and I'm up to 630 in just over 2 years, which the forum stats tell me is 0.76 posts per day. How sad is that :(
