Re: Second project

Hi Martin, looks good. I have used the very small pots (14ml) of enamel paint that you can get from model shops. The Revell green No 61 is a good match. Humbrol also do a good green as well.

Re: Wondermatics "Pools": Locks which fit this machine?

As 13rebel says, usually the top lock is a small one without a ring and the cash door lock is a larger Yale type lock, as in pics below (both taken from ebay):

Re: South Shields Pilwin & Fivewin

Very different and certainly not something I would do but, saying that, I think the lights actually go with the clown - there is a circus feel about it that matches the Pilwin character.

Speaking with the seller, I can confirm that it is an original Stevenson and Lovett that was refurbished a couple of years ago.

Stevenson and Lovett Fourth Bridge

Is this an original Stevenson and Lovett but altered, looks like a good repro job to me - the 'use old pennies' sign is obviously not original - seller is asking £1250

Re: Scrap metal allwin

Here is another one Jonathan, slightly different than Slotalots pic but you will probably be able to figure out how the payout is made, but as Badpenny said it would be interesting to see your innovative solution. If you are interested there is the annual slotty auction at Coventry next month (25th ...

Re: Scrap metal allwin

Very very good jonathans257, I assume from the coin chute arrangement on the rear that there are two lose holes that retain the ball in the chute and two win holes that return the ball for a free go when won.

Coin Clock

Here is another of those coin clocks, I think one appeared on here a while ago. In the description it says " inside there is a coin mechanism, which operates a friction brake on the balance wheel, to stop and start the clock" but don't know why you would want to start and stop the clock :!...
