Re: Emma Raducana

See this is the kind of ridiculousness we have to put up with ALL THE TIME! It's NOT FAIR! We DO NOT play in snowshoes! We are an industrious nation! We don't live an outdoors nomadic lifestyle! sheesh We play inside large ice domes that shelter us from the snowstorms and polar bears. duh. Steady o...

Re: Searching for old pals

I'll respond Roger, as it looks like no one else was going to...... I think it's rare to find either here, there are of course exceptions, but pretty scarce. As far as operating larger antique arcade machines over here we had our own manufacturers to supply us , such as Ahrens Grand Marathon Cycle R...

Re: The 2 New Penny Shooter

I bid on this too. They do take really good money and this version I haven't seen before.
Looks like a bit of a conversion, especially based on the stencil on the cabinet and the pussy shooter background still in place.

Re: Streets Shooter Conversion

Darren's machine is still working well too! It's Cromptons (not Streets). I converted my Pussy Shooter too and made electrically safe, and added sound and red LED eyes to the cats which look great as they 'wink' as the contacts make and break. Also, 10 seconds is way too short, so added some time on...

Re: Greaves Amusements Story PT2

A very interesting read. I fondly remember attending many of the Associated Leisure clearance sales, especially sorting through machines and looking for bargains within their massive storage arches at Burton. Also remember the CTL closure auction, and filling a 3.5T wagon to the gunnels..... cheap c...

Re: Questions for Arthur Bolland

Another question please. Can Arthur confirm if they made the 'Wishiwell ' fortune teller we discussed on the forum, and was it a 'one off'?
Amongst other similarities to a Bolland machine, the rotating roll on the Wishiwell lists questions identical to their Pharos machine.

Re: Questions for Arthur Bolland

How very exciting! Off the top of my head; there are some very obscure and later Clown Head case models that have appeared and I'd like to ask Arthur if these were 'one offs'? Man on the Moon, Old Mill, The Attic The Bloody Tower ( slim cabinet) Frank-n-Stein ( slim cabinet) and I'd love to know if ...
