Re: Matthewson (Automatic Sports Co.) games
The two accounts by Bolland are from an interview conducted by the late Jon Gresham in connection with a book on coin op machines that he was writing. Sadly, although completed, Jon’s book was never published I could read these stories for days. Is there a book waiting to be published? Please keep ...

I was one of the interested parties on this game. I just love these 2player arcades and have never seen this one. It appears that there is a knob to turn the players or maybe just the goalie. Does anyone know who made this and what the functions are? An American fan wants to know !PUZZLED! !!CHEERS!!

Hi,
Can anyone shed some light on the LA CHASSE A COURRE (The Hunt) arcade game that was in this auction? I've only seen pictures and wanted to know more about it.
Cheers

Laughing Sailor but who's the maker?
I recently found this Laughing Sailor but I'm not sure how to tell who the maker is. I apologize for the poor pictures as I have not taken ownership yet. It looks like a Modern Enterprises machine but there seems to be a lot of re-creations out there. Thanks.

Re: Palmistry Palm Reading Fortune Teller
The style is definitely consistent with Ahren's, but the light up deco frame suggests a later distributor/operator conversion.

Palmistry Palm Reading Fortune Teller
Hello fellow collectors,
Can anyone tell me about this palm reader? I'm not sure who or when this machine was made. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Re: Charlie and Mabel in the Park
I will post more pictures as soon as I take possession. Although I haven't seen it in action, I'm told Charlie uses his cane to lift up Mabel's dress and then she turns to slap him across the face.
So, is the assumption these were made by Bolland?

Re: Charles Ahrens The FireFighters Working Model
I was being sincere. I share the same passion for the Working Models. I was at the VCA Auction to witness the William Harrah collection and I was amazed to see the Burglar Model command such a high price. I prefer the Execution type models but all of them are appreciated.

Thank you Mr. Moonriver,
Your vast knowledge of Working Models is greatly appreciated . I have seen a video of the Bellringers (I'm in love), but I haven't seen a Firefighers nor do I know what movements they have.

I noticed an interesting coin operated cigar dispenser skill game in Stacey's Auction this week. Did anyone else see this machine? Is it cast iron, sheet metal? What/Who manufactured it?

Re: Automatc Shooting Gallery
I believe it did have blue paint at one time. Low 4 figures (U.S. dollar) is what my item is valued in the trade. I'm guessing this would not be an even swap.

Automatic Shooting Gallery
I have been offered this counter-top shooting gallery game in trade. I have no idea about this little gem nor have I ever seen one. Can anyone help identify and possibly some comparable sales? I hope I'm not violating any rules by asking its value. Thanks for the support.

Re: Cresset Pickwick Machine
Hi Dave, Thanks for your info. I agree the wood balls are too light. I'll have to look for an alternative. There seems to be a lot of brass throughout, making me think it might have been pieced together. But again, I'm not too versed on these. It's a great looking piece and I didn't realize how heav...
