Re: Flatten plastic

DSC01512b.jpg I have tried flattening a play field with the gentle application of heat from a heat gun with not much luck. I even tried laying a piece of glass over it to distribute the heat evenly. The glass shattered. The oven scares me. With the heat gun I only screw up one small area at a time....

Flatten OW backflash & unidentified tin

I just added "The Lucky Twelve" Allwin to my collection. Banging around inside was the small metal container shown in the pictures. I looked everywhere for the two screws it would have hung from. I even checked in the bottom cash drawer for screws or screw holes. Maybe all the pennies that...

Flatten a plastic backflash

Topic copied, edited and merged from Flatten OW backflash & unidentified tin - Site Admin. If someone has come up with an innovative new way to flatten the plastic playfield I would love to hear about it. This poor game is unplayable until I find a way to flatten the playfield over the winning ...

Re: My New Allwin

The machine arrived safely yesterday. I took out the glass so the pictures would be a little clearer. The backflash looks a lot like the other backflash except mine is badly faded. In the corner where it didn't get much light you can see the true color. The machine is in good shape but it still need...

Re: My New Allwin

When the machine arrives next week I'll take a close up picture of the backflash and post it here. Did this machine have a model name like the later machines?

Re: My New Allwin

Thanks Treefrog for the information. Do you, or anyone, have a picture of what the machine should look like. It looks like there is a piece of metal missing on the play field and around the payout handle.

BMCo/Bolland's allwins identified

Hi Everyone....I just bought an Allwin and I have no clue who made it, when it was made or what it was called. Also the play field looks wrong. Does anyone recognize it?

Re: AMCO Tank Buster identified

DD...This does not have anything to do with Tank Buster but I thought you might like to meet some of your Basketball games American Cousins. I believe ABCO Novelty Company, Chicago, Illinois, USA was the manufacture. They made versions for anyone who would buy enough to justify the production change...

Re: Chad's Balls

Thanks for the help Rebel. Normally when I get a new Allwin I replace the old rusty pitted ball with a new 1/2" one. I checked the size in the first machine I bought, which was a Bryan's, and it was 1/2". So, I figured they all used the same size. I just went back and checked the original ...

Chad's Balls

Topic merged - Site Admin. Hi..Everyone...I was wondering if anyone knows the correct size of Chad's balls and how many he should have? I recently bought a Chad Allwin on Ebay USA. Re: "Win A Smarties" Allwin Glass Thickness

Thanks guys for the information on the glass thicknesses. It is always a chore for me to get the bottom glass out because I sandwich the top flash sign between two pieces of glass. It make me crazy when the plastic is all warped so I put a second piece of glass on the back side and use turn buttons ...

"Win A Smarties" Allwin Glass Thickness

Hi Everyone....I just won a "Win A Smarties" Allwin on Ebay and sometime during it's life both pieces of glass were replaced. Whoever did it cut them both too small and the glass also looks too thin. I can probably figure out the correct size of the glass but I was wondering if anyone knew...

Re: Bryans magic & other English machines on ebay.com

I was looking into the deal with Ebay and the Auction House and ran across this. Ebay asked me to sign in for the auction and then up popped my personal info that was to be sent to the Auction House if I clicked on "Sign UP". I didn't click. I did find the terms and conditions for the Auct...

English Machines on Ebay USA
