Re: Rare Diana shooter on eBay
Hi
as far as I know - the "Running Hare" was build by Jentzsch&Meerz,
in germany it was called "Hubertus" , there where two different versions one
with payout for Token, and one with payout in cash.
And indeed the basics are really equally.
cheers Marco

Re: Rare Diana shooter on eBay
Hi, just an additional comment.... the Diana was build by IMO - AUTOMATEN FABRIK in the year 1957 The interesting point here is that this company was owned by Helmuth Jentsch, who was the Son of the legendary Max Jentzsch from Jentzsch und Meerz. attached a copy from an original ad, and a link to a ...

Re: Anyone cleaned parts in their dishwasher before?
Hi, I know a collector, who does this always with his bandit machines, and I did it also once with a old Wulff machine (Rotomat) - the machine is still working ... You should have an extra dishwasher for this, don't use corrosive cleaner, use the low temp program, remove the wheels, dry it directly ...

Re: Schwarz / Tura / AR-R German bandits
And what about the third picture in my last post - looks like the TURA Silent, but with a double jackpot? Yes, it looks like the TURA SILENT DOPPELJACKPOT mentioned in my other post.... I think my Tura Belln is around 1935 The "Goldsiegel" was first presented at the autumn-fair in 1933. S...

Re: Schwarz / Tura / AR-R German bandits
Thanks pennymachines ! Your machine is the "normal TURA Silent" - see picture below - how nice colored it was once... Interested in pricing? The Silent was sold for 620,- RM (Reichsmark) and the Silent with douple Jackpot was sold for 685,- RM - that was pretty much money at this time, if ...

Mills (?) - Tura silent - Heros D
Topic merged - site admin. Hi there, TURA was one of the biggest producers of slot machines in the '30s in Germany, located in Leipzig. They started as "C.M.Schwarz" and Mr. Schwarz was the general importer for Jennings machines in Europe. Later, as TURA, they started to build their own m...

Bajazzo Jentzsch & Meerz
...Just finished today, after more than a half year... (indeed not working everyday on this project) This was a wreck - with everything you like to have in a gambling machine - fire-damage, wood worms, water-damage and corrosion... I did take apart every single screw, and finally I am really happy w...

Re: Found Clown penny slot at the tip in 1977
Hi Pennymachines, I saw this wreck on ebay - much too much money for this. Somebody will have a lot of fun with it, as half of the parts are missing. The one-hand Bajazzo is from "Giese & Co. Automatenfabrik Berlin". They invented the one-knob system in 1926 (patent), and they also pro...

Re: Found Clown penny slot at the tip in 1977
Hi Jason, Your catcher looks like a Bajazzo from the '20s. It's no Jentzsch & Meerz, no Schülke. I would guess it is made by Hermann Wollenberg, Berlin, in 1925 or 1926. There are a few parts which are comparable with other Wollenberg machines. (Could also be "Giese & Co., Berlin")...

Hi, Tobias is still active, and you can still buy the necessary parts to build this machine, you can also ask for the construction plan (for free). there was a funny film in a German TV-magazine (local TV) about him and his collection... starting at 13:30 http://www.mdr.de/mediathek/fernsehen/a-z/se...

Re: Domino / Lucky Dice / Le Juge de Paix
Hi le pingouin,
Where do you know from that the ad is from 1912 ?
Pennymachines mentioned that "Le Juge de Paix" was a popular game, do you know the game or rules?
We have cards (applications), dices (wheels) and Domino in the name... very strange.....
Regards Marco.

Re: Domino / Lucky Dice / Le Juge de Paix
Hi, That is very interesting.... It looks quite clear like a conversion from the Omega. The Omega was first introduced in 1929 as "Waren-Automat", and then later called "Omega". Produced by Jentzsch & Meerz. In that time there were a lot of American slots imported, so the Ger...
