It is because the car filler does not shrink or crack, dries in no time at all and acts like glue so will also bind the two parts together. !!RAYOF!!

Buy some car filler, fill the hole and sand till flush. :didact: Then with some cheap paints mix until you find the right shade of oak then with either a fine marker pen or paint brush put the grain pattern back in. !!THUMBSX2!! Then cover with French polish or varnish. !THUMBS!

Thanks for the reply but this pinball only uses one ball which is ejected each time but I will try a level to make sure it's as is should be. !!THUMBSX2!!

Hi Margamatic and thanks for your reply. Firstly, the pinball is kept in pride of place in the warm in my lounge. I know these machines don't like the damp. This is my first pinball and I have very limited knowledge but don't mind having a go, so to speak, just a bit afraid of nobbing every thing up...
