Re: Re-introduction and a Bryan's question

That would be fantastic if you did still have one lurking.

And if not, maybe an idea of if the zintec stuff is going to be ok to use, or if not, what's best.

Thanks !!THUMBSX2!!

Re-introduction and a Bryan's question

Hi all, Although I've been a member here since 2011, I haven't been active since then because of life getting in the way as it so often does - and I had to sell two of my four penny machines back then to raise funds for roof work on the house too. So this is to just say "re-hello" and I ho...

Re: Cromford Steam Fair

I'll second that, went on the Saturday and it was pretty good indeed. Nice to see a much more genteel vintage funfair than the usual 'shouting disco beat' modern stuff, actually. If I ever get enough penny slots together to make a trailer-full I'd be very tempted indeed to go to some of these rallie...

Re: Bryans clock in a metal case

It's the same one that's for sale at only (!!) £800 on Melvyn Wright's website. I think the story may be true but I have my doubts about whether it makes the machine worth that price, to be honest. !OMFG!

Re: Payramid Stuck Ball

Thanks for that idea. I've now measured all the balls (lost count of how many but it was quite a lot) and they are indeed all the correct size. Been looking more closely at the problem and it's definitely that the flat arm on which the balls 'in a row' lie: when it pushes up it should push the ball ...

Payramid Stuck Ball

Had a bit of an interesting afternoon. Been looking at the Payramid patent drawings and discovering that my machine must have been used as a non-jackpot machine for a long time, as the coin guide 92 was missing. So been making a 'Bent Guide 92' to deflect coins randomly into the Jackpot Container 93...

Re: Bryans Elevenses Part

Very odd, Nostalgic Machines don't seem to be contactable via phone or even mobile phone. I'll wait a few days and try again. Back to my Elevenses: any idea what metal the corner decorative castings are - where the chrome is worn it looks a bit like brass? Reason I ask is that where the ball hammer ...

Bryans Elevenses Part

Hi, Just waiting for my email activation which seems to be 'lost' for now... !PUZZLED! Anyway - does anyone know if it's possible to obtain the 'Stop Post' for a Bryan's Elevenses I've just acquired - this is the external (chromed?) post mounted just below the spring lever to stop (presumably) over-...
