Re: Aristocrat Kingsway missing lock and lighting

Hope below helps. The tab should have a cut in it that goes through the lock bar pinion marked with the arrow below. You can cut a notch in the tab to achieve this. 5537BA4C-3749-4CF1-A03D-C01040AED73Aa.jpg The second picture is where I was lazy as by lifting only the lock bar, the weight and smooth...

Re: Aristocrat kingsway missing lock and lighting

Hello and welcome, A very tidy looking machine !!THUMBSX2!! Although I have a sales poster for these machines, I have not seen that version before with the top flash artwork, very nice. In terms of lighting, I am the wrong person to answer this, but would have thought it would be straightforward to ...

Re: EH / Collector Connector sales

not impressed with tonight's lots ending on EH site, almost 100 lots but only 6 machines, I think!! Well I guess it is all down to anyone willing to sell and at the moment there are more buyers than sellers. I have used Steve’s service a lot and think he does a sterling job. Re: Jubilee Riviera Cabinet Style 1950s/1960s One Armed Bandit Identification

I love light up stands and own a few and seen a few variations, I reckon most were custom made or made by slot machine suppliers for arcades and casinos. No idea on value in Aus, !PUZZLED!

Re: Restoring award plates

I rarely bother, too lazy, but you could carefully apply Vaseline to the non indented areas near where the indented areas are located and paint indented fruits and numbers with correct colours using enamel paint and when dry, wipe off the Vaseline applied areas…….. even if you miss an area with Vase...

Re: Need help on my Mills War Eagle restoration

Sorry, I measured between the pins, so guess you can work it out. Would guess it's about 16 overall, so 3 inches.

Re: Need help on my Mills War Eagle restoration

Answer is yes both sides. I do not have a war Eagle in front of me, but most Mills of the period are similar: I measured about 10 inches. I had always assumed the pins on all these machines went all the way through to hold the pieces of wood together, but I have had a few machines where this was not...

Re: Mills / Jubilee reel strips

I recall in Australia there was a misuse of Mills' name on a number of local machines. Not sure how they got away with it, but I am sure this had been discussed on one of the threads on Aussie machines. I assume you are based in Australia based on the coinage…….

Re: Aristocrat Clubman & Clubmaster

Yes it is a real shame, I remember when considering some other slots from Aus, searching out professional packers who would collect and it was very difficult, now as mentioned shipping has gone mad…… containers that cost £3000 per unit from China are now costing £30000…… I will keeping dreaming

Re: A pair of Little Dukes

Looks like a fun project. I am in the middle of rebuilding a Greyhound Clement and Whales conversion of a little duke at the moment as the cabinet had been badly damaged.

Are they on U.K. coinage
