Re: New member - Honest Joe

Welcome Mick to the world's most knowledgeable website on these things. The members here will certainly try to answer anything slot related. With respect to wall fixing, certainly an angle bracket, shelf or batten to sit the machine on would be wise for such a heavy machine, however, I would always ...

Re: Airship Catchers

Interesting catalogue image Mr PM of the Airship Machine with the words 'Nulli Secundus' The Nulli Secundus (Latin for 'second to none') was Britain's first military aircraft and was an airship that first flew in 1907 so I guess these airship catchers are a celebration of this and therefore I would ...

Beromat slides

Topic merged - Site Admin. A friend of mine has a Beromat on 1D coinage. One of the slides is cracked between the hole and slide edge and he asked me if these slides could be replaced easily, assuming that a copy could be made. Being primarily an allwin man, I have no knowledge of bandits but I tol...

You will be fortunate to find any serial number on an allwin, unless it is a Bryans.

Groetchen Skill Shot Trade Stim - like allwin

Anyone seen one of these before by the Groetchen Tool and Maunfacturing Company, found it on YouTube, apparently a trade stim from the 1940s but quite obviously based upon a reserve ball allwin. Slide coin entry, note the pin just under the 'S' of the word Skill, if the machine is tilted the pin sho...

Nice little cherry steinslots although I would not call your cherry shabby chic though, rather nice original. - I prefer to call shabby chic 'tatty crap' horses for courses as they say.

Re: selfish allwin won't cough up!

Hi widget2K4, just a thought but check that the release claw (green arrow) is not being obstructed by the raised block (red arrow) just above the stepping block, if so the claw may need to be spaced out from the lever arm slightly to miss that obstruction. If that does not work, take off the yellow ...

Re: R&W "Many Happy Returns"

Nice job coppinpr, I see that the left and right hand column pins supporting the balls have been removed - presumably by a past operator to let the balls pass through to the lose hole, thus gaining more takings. I also see that there appears to be paper (or something) left between the payout slides ...
