Are those the original reel symbols? When did these 'new style' symbols start to appear?

It's an Instone and Ashby-style conversion, but I've never seen one on a Jennings.

I believe the Mills 'Liberty Bell' machine has occasionally been seen on this side of the pond.

Powell's Automatics made loads of interesting Jubilee conversions, the best known being O-X-O. There's a now-scarce one called Pot Black, with a snooker theme, which ought to be a collector's item in its own right.

Do we have a timescale for production of these machines? I always think of them as part of the flurry of new games which came with the introduction of the New Penny. (Brenco Heads & Tails was another).

Payout slides are plentiful; they are Mills-pattern. The escalator is probably a roll-down Shefras type, a very common retro-fit from the day. Unless you are an absolute perfectionist, you should be able to make a credible machine from this with very little effort, especially with the expert guidanc...

How horrible!
That needs sorting-out straight away.
The numbers on the award card represent the number of coins paid out, irrespective of the value.
Anything else would be seen as a SWIZZ!

Single cherry pays 4?
I've only ever seen that on a Buckley.

I'll have a look on mine, although I'm fairly sure it's been taken off.
The columns aren't blanked, though.

Stocks and Bonds pay 0, as any Little Stockbroker will tell you!
