Re: Regina Beromat Restoration
I got out my file and about an hour later, the machine now pays out correctly. Fortunately there was another 2d payout slot on the cam so I could copy the depth from that one. Thought perhaps the purists would scream in horror at the idea of modifying the Regina bandit. It's still a great puzzle why ...

Treefrog, I assume you mean they can't be copied for copyright reasons rather than technical ones. I'm no expect on these matters but doesn't the copyright expire after 75 years?Only issue is about half the videos posted over the 10 years now have dead links, such a shame one can’t copy them.

Re: Alwin lock and other questions
I would send the lock away to one of the locksmiths listed in the Services section of the forum. It looks to be a simple lock so it shouldn't cost too much to cut a key and you get to keep the original lock. It's probably worth phoning them first to check they are open because of the you-know-what ...

Re: Regina Beromat Restoration
There is a strange payout (or rather non payout) on my Regina Beromat machine. The Awards list gives a 2d payout for 'Bar Bar 2', but the machine never delivers it. Examining the payout cams confirms that this isn't possible, as there is a blank area without a cut-out, so the sensors can't trigger ...

Revenge of the One Arm Bandit
I found this clip from the twilight Zone on the Fogh Andersen website: https://www.foghandersen.com/twilight-zone-rol-a-top/ Great fun and their website is interesting too, thanks to Google translate! Does anyone else have this obsession? I know how all consuming restoring a One Arm bandit can be ...

Re: Regina Beromat Restoration
Thanks guys. Yes I was using the wrong term. Lack of experience you know. It is the restart arm and it is this that makes the noises. The kicker arms are well clear of the reels when they spin. Just a thought. Would it be a good idea to start a restoration area in the BB? I would find it useful to ...

Re: Regina Beromat Restoration
Quite right treefrog. I think you saw the machines at the auction and saw the poor condition they were in. I felt there was no way to get both machines restored so I took parts from both to get the final result. And you are right about the kicker running on the reel pins but I thought this was ...

Regina Beromat Restoration
I got two Wulff Regina Beromats at Eastbourne Auctions. They were in dreadful condition and it has taken me till now to make one good working machine from them. I have made a short video of the result and loaded it on youtube.

Re: Eastbourne auction
Hello everyone. I am the guy who bought the Regina Beromats at Eastbourne Auctions. I did view them before bidding and realised just how bad a condition they were in. That was why I was keen to buy both machines so I could make one good one out of the two. Of course I would have preferred to pay the ...
