Why this month?

* Not been into work since end of January
* Front wheel bearing gone west (my car)
* Alternator seized (Doff's car)
* Gas boiler forgotten how to heat shower
* Ordered new pvc windows for back of house a while ago, they arrive now.
.......................... and then in local Freebie Ads: -
For Sale one arm bandit rough chrome old coins, very heavy. £300 ono

Which is how I get to add Jennings Governor all complete for £230 to the above expense list dammit!

just wondering its now april can you not go to work since jan ,because your wheel bearing on your car has gone west and you cant have a shower ? LOL :P :P

Which is how I get to add Jennings Governor all complete for £230 to the above expense list dammit!
It's nice to see you can still get bargains out there, at least this should have put a positive spin on things.....I must start reading those freebies pushed though the letterbox, you never know ;-)

I can just imagine that happening on your milking parlour jimmy, does the yield drop if you haven't sprayed your oxters in Lynx?

I haven't had a bargain on e-bay since I can't remember when, but I have a regular advert running in the freebies around here.
Its says I buy pre-decimal pennies, thru'pennies and tanners, no amount too small or large, I offer the same amount per hundred and explain they're used in renovating vintage end of the pier amusement machines.
That way I hit two birds with one stone, I get no end of cheap coins and about half a dozen calls a year regarding machines :mrgreen:
Give it a try (but not in the Coventry area please)........ you can load your advert on line.
