A recent find in California. Any ideas? Is it some sort of Skittle Alley Bowling machine?

Hi hottoddy!

It's clearly a miniature Skittle Alley Bowling machine as you say, but there's something curious about how new it looks - both the wood and metal work - as if it's been recently either built from scratch or completely rebuilt. Did you find it in an antique shop or similar?

No maker's badge, I take it. What coin does it work on? It doesn't look British or European. Interesting item.

Thanks PennyMachines

It's currently going through a complete restoration. It was missing a side door and it had some wood worm damage. I do not know what coin it will accept and I will try and get that information. I will also try and get some more pictures to help with the identification.

Also, please describe how it operates. For the looks of it, a Masters in Engineering plus a crew of four is required.
