Post by ddstoys »

Hi everyone it's been a while been busy with work so no time to update.

I've added a few new (old) machines to the collection hopefully some of you will be interested in them

1960s sega punching bag
1957 Williams ten strike
1957 Genco motorama
1974 midway chopper
1954 Seeburg coon hunt
1971 bally roadrunner
1905 pepsin gum penny drop

Hopefully also be adding a few more early in the year I have my name on a united ball bowler, dales burp gun (cops and robbers) and a 1950s pitch and bat

Dan, you obviously have too much space and spare cash!?! Nice haul from one place, especially in Oz.

It appears to be called "Rating" and the play field shows a St Bernard humping a tree.

Jingle, any local plastics company can make the dome. It's only four bends in a flat sheet cut to shape first. A friend had one made for me nearly 10 years ago and was only about $150 aud or approx 75 pounds.

I may look in to that Rory
Coz the guy who bought the machine
For 440 plus slap
Doesn't know anything about machines
He is just a local antiques dealer in liverpool
I may be able to nik it off him
At a later date as I informed his close mate
There's is 500 pound to spend on the dome which
He didn't realise had had one on it, :tut

Really great machines those original mannequin bowlers, both the Williams and Evans versions. Benchmark games did a modern version with LED scoring rather than old pinball type score reels but I believe they were appalling in terms of faults in normal usage so were quickly discontinued.
