Palmistry Palm Reading Fortune Teller

Postby hottoddy » Mon Feb 23, 2015 11:37 pm

Hello fellow collectors,

Can anyone tell me about this palm reader? I'm not sure who or when this machine was made. Any info is greatly appreciated.

At heart it's an Ahrens Automatic Palmist but in a "modern/Odeon" guise. I've seen a few of these - this one was on ebay, apparently -

and this one sold in 2008 (see Arena) -

I think I've also seen one with red plastics. I don't know if Ahrens put them out like this or if some other outfit was responsible for revamping them.

The style is definitely consistent with Ahren's, but the light up deco frame suggests a later distributor/operator conversion.
