Bally

Post by junior »

I've just had a look at a Bally All the Fun of the Fair. It's on old two bob /10p, the jackpot is £1, it all lights up and there is a grinder that pays out the winnings, not a payout tube. When you put a coin in, the solenoid buzzes a bit until you pull the arm. How much is it currently worth? There was one on eBay for about £400 last weekend.
Thanks.

Hmmm. It's all about condition. Bally machines have suddenly become less available of late and that has pushed prices up. Within the last 5 years, you could pick up a rough Bally for £30-£40. They do seem to be more popular now, but they aren't worth a fortune.

If you get a Bally get a sparky to check it over to make sure they are earthed properly. Nasty stuff that electricity.
