Re: Rare 1959 bally deluxe bowling club project
I'd love it - just my sort of project but...no room.
This is what it could look like:

Pity there's no puck. The puck wouldn't be hard to make but it has to be just the right size - the metal part didn't touch the pins, just the softer rounded top part.

The puck is a standard piece and easy to find. If you look closely coppin there are switch wires sticking up through the playfield, under the pins. The puck closes these to trip a relay holding each pin. If adjusted right the pins will never see any damage except maybe nasty UV over time. There are different models where the pins do get hit and get thrashed though and some are impossible to find now. Especially the miniature pins on the Williams Ten Strike!!coppinpr wrote:

Nice one Bob, a lot of machine there for the money ........ especially for those with an aircraft hangar in the back garden.

Re: Rare 1959 bally deluxe bowling club project
I had one of these years ago Bob It was a nice game. I think the puck was chrome plated steel about 3 inches diameter
Re: Rare 1959 bally deluxe bowling club project
Probably about the same as a ice hockey one then
But without the chrome
Not had any offers yet
I think this is for nothing at this price
Anyway bonfire night soon
