1950s Whales Defiant

Item no. 200111093928 has just cropped up on Ebay. It's an Oliver Whales Defiant allwin, but NOT the war-time version that most of us are familiar with - it's a 1950s version. Has anyone come across one of these before?

Jerry, it's an unusual one isn't it?! The backflash is familiar 1950's Whales fare...probably designed for another machine..but the aeroplane must have been "found behind the workbench" or somewhere and it was all just cobbled together for a very limited run (probably just the one)! The topflash looks a bit half hearted too. Whales always rehashed old parts to make hybrid machines but I've never seen one from this late an era.
