What a lovely machine and so much better than that nasty modern paint. Love the shape of the cabinet as well. I know some people and members on here have considered changing these to Hitler shooters, but I would leave as it, great machine.

I have a Pussy Shooter and Felix Shooter, both different cabinet styles.

Thanks treefrog. Yes I like it original as well. The wood I did with teak Briwax, gives a nice and shiny effect.
Never heard about the Felix shooter, so there are three shooting versions of Haydon?

Hello...I am new to the group and recently picked up a Clown Shooter. The game is fairly complete but the barrel to the gun is broken... Is there anywhere a replacement barrel can be found or must it be fabricated from scratch?? Thanks Mike

Hi Mike and :WELCOME:

I bought 3 Pussy Shooter guns for £100 at the Elephant House last September - for an operator who wanted them for spares. There was another went for £25 in the following sale, so they do turn up occasionally. I assume these are the same as the Clown guns?

I believe they're 3/8" on Pussy Shooters. Unfortunately, when the barrels are worn the guns tend to misfire.

So on these Clown Shooter games....who is the manufacturer of the gun (in the States we have mainly ABT guns). Do you know if the barrels come off the gun or is it part of the mechanism??? Might you have any parts for sale...
Thanks again...

Thought I would share some pictures of the Felix Shooter, another Pussy Shooter style machine that I have had for quite a long time. I know of two collectors who have similar by British American Novelty… Cannot find it listed in Braithwaite's book. It has an Odeon theatre style shape and viewing window with different cast aluminium feet. Very 1920s/30s... This came from Harrison’s arcade in Clacton.

Can’t brag to have a clown shooter, but like the clown cast sold at EH above a number of years ago, another popped up at a local auction to me the other day, they described it as a 1970’s shooting casting…another wall hanger to find space for…
