Found This Discotel Juke in a Barn.....

Post by countrydave »

Found this British Automatic Company Discotel Jukebox in a Barn in Kent.. It has a few problems and needs some tender loving care. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who knows anything about Discotel Jukes and folks who may have parts for the record selector unit.....
All the switchgear is original and was last seen working a year ago.

Hi Dave, welcome along.

I would say your best bet is to repair the selector arm if possible. What is it made of?

I have glued and pinned it so it is repaired the question is ...for how long...I have located some parts that will have to wait till the end of the month for purchase. In the meantime I have to strip down the selector mechanism. And get it back together so it works in sequence..... :-?

Contact Terry Lovell in East London as the parts are from an AMI jukebox and you should have no problem getting them.
