Unusual Rotomint model

Post by coppinpr »

Ive always had a liking for Rotomint machines, Ive had about six over the years. There seems to be an infinite number of models and Ive never seen this one before. Im guessing 1965 as they got more complex and confusing as the years past. By the time you read the four pages worth of instructions on the right panel your DM would have increased in value  It seems to have had an early version of a bank on it , which held your money till you withdrew (or more likely lost it) the mechanical counter reads 90 DM 40 pf in the photo!
I might have taken a chance on this one (less than £50 on Ebay) but Im too busy to go get it at the moment.
The great Automatix site dosn't seem to list this one which is unusual, they list a "Record A", a "Record B", a "Record D"and a "Gold" but not a " Gold Record"
