Junkyard collectables

Post by treefrog »

Came across the below site of an enthusiast, more motor related collectables and noticed a few nice machines for sale, especially the Brooklands related items. The two BDR's look lovely and was really interested and eventually made contact, but they are way out of my price range.....I had a figure of a grand each, but you will need deep, very deep pockets if this is your ultimate machine. Especially odd to see two for sale.

Also had a Bolands bandit and a Bryan's All Sport.....

I did not try and barter, which may have been a mistake as who know's, maybe they will take a 500% discount, also lots of other lovely memorabilia.

I will wait for the next Brooklands or any type..... :#:

Your right Bob the artwork previously owned by John Morley, who had bought earlier from Steve Hunt, was nice though, but at it's limit and is also for sale on the site. Double those prices on the machines.
