1961 Aristocrat Starlite

Postby henk » Sun Mar 11, 2018 2:39 pm

Bought today an Aristocrat slot machine. Mechanical was stuck and already fixed in a few minutes  Chrome also in good condition - not bad for 175 euros. :HaHa:

Nice one henk, I did see it for sale. But it was a big trip for me. I see the last weeks more nice and not expensive machines in your area. Enjoy it.

Strangely there is almost the exact model for sale on ebay, same reels same award card, but in poor condition and in tiny pieces.

The 'pokie' reels aren't common outside of Oz.

There’s one of these on eBay now for £50, not quite the same condition and described as a Jennings one armed bandit

These are more often for sale in Holland for around 350 euros. I don't think they are that rare but for the price I got it am happy, only I have to replace the reel which got some water damage and I polished the chrome with Commandant 4 because it had some rust.

Nice machine, I would have bought it for that. I wonder if the Starlite badge is right as I believe the Starlite used fruits and had coin reject, this maybe should have a Arcadian badge on. I wonder if it is an Aussie spec machine
