no, nothing to do with a part from an original working model. Homemade piece, although you could adapt it into something and put it into a cabinet.
Modern, non moving fortune teller prop in cabinet sold for £320 at EH recently and straight onto eBay at £1000.
Probably not worth the effort building a decent cabinet, mech, timer / relay, etc for this though.
