Answer...when it looks like this !PUZZLED!
Just been pulled off eBay. Can’t figure it out. Is it something to do with liberty games?

You'll have to give beginners like me a helping hand here.
Apart from the home-made award card, all I can see is a Jennings Sun Chief.
Where am I going wrong?

There are a number of old threads discussing origins of these and other similar machines,

If you type tpg in search box. TPG being Terrence Powell Group.

As Brigham says, why is it believed to be a not original Jennings !PUZZLED!

Editing as one obvious thing missing is the reel plastic separator, although searching the net I can see a few other machines without them. Like everything you would need to see from back insides to confirm.

TPG machines are fairly obvious, including base coin operation etc

Non-standard payout scheme; takes 25C, pays pounds? :o

Not really, they have sold some very nice original machines as well.....repro machines are what they are and I believe originally sold to trade and almost certainly people wanting nostalgia. You just need to know the difference and what you want.

Don't these just have the modern innards found in arcades and cafes today, an MPU, hopper and multi coin acceptor??! Played one on the Isle of Wight and rather boring.

I contacted these guys to enquire. The machine in the photo was not for sale. He had bits for a liberty machine... not even any parts for a Jennings. I think he used the picture to capture attention! Waste of time!
