Thought I would show off my Buckaroo which I purchased from the States this year. It’s a nickel machine, all numbers matching with original locks and keys and original chrome work. Only played it for 5 minutes and I hit the jackpot. 1st one I’ve had on a Jennings @&@

Bit of a scrap for the Buckaroo at EH today, is hear! !PUNISH! !PUNISH!
Seeing this one will hopefully bring some comfort to the underbidder!
Did he have a lucky escape??
Who knows for sure??
They are still relatively plentiful in the US and of later production than many might think.
First produced in 1955 and saw service in many of the Las vegas casinos well into the '60s.

Chrome was stunning throughout on the one in Elephant though. ;)

Not being a fan of US coinage machines, I have to admit, that is a lovely machine, love the style of the casting.

I was talking to a guy at the Elephant who wanted the Buckeroo there, but price went mad. I told him it had been advertised for much cheaper over the last year like on here and other places and he was gutted. Of course hearing gooners story about bringing back a Sun Chief as hand luggage and prices in the states, explained it is now viable to buy direct from there....... always wanted to go to one of the big slot fairs there, maybe will do next year

Bought from a collector/dealer in California. Been after an original Buckaroo for a couple years, never seen one for sale in the U.K. before.

I think that guy you were talking to at EH was me. Gutted the machine went for 5k plus commission.
I am searching high and low for one but can only find them in the states. In the unlikely event someone does want to sell on such a machine pls Pm me. |/XX\|

It was good to meet you, maybe see you at Coventry auction if you decide to venture there.

The EH machine I believe was originally advertised (correct me if my assumption is wrong) on the penny-arcade site with loads of other machines.....it was cheap at £1800 and probably took less. If the same looked to have been from a Scandinavian country operating on ore, unless my eyes have really gone. This must be one of the last Buckeroos in the later Governor cabinet.....

Seems to be some machines still for sale there, but prices are all over the place..
