Jarring to see the blackface/minstrel performer on the cover, but I guess it was the 30s afterall.

"small brads or wire pegs" on page 65. What are "brads"?

I like that they try guessing at odds for hitting the jackpot holes, as 100 to 1 and 50 to 1.
I love how many words they dedicate to the specifics of just plunging a ball!
