Haha, then I'm glad I didn't bother scanning the Mills manual! Mills used photos to show the parts and they are awfully hard to see clearly. Plus, I think the Sega guys added some extra info from memory. It was this version that led me to fix my Mills VP after many long frustrated hours......

Well,

To my surprise the pictures did help. I'm pleased to say I've fixed my problem. Combination of a very slight adjustment to the sliding finger and a slight bend in the bar that stops it (technical names there, of course) and my machine is now paying out correctly on all awards
