B.M. Co. pediment

Post by pennymachines »

Typical pediment on small B.M. Co. allwins (traced from an original).

It is made of four pieces of 7/8" oak, tongue and groove jointed as shown.

The mirror sign fits into a recess behind the frame and is backed by a piece of 12" x 4" x 1/4" ply, fixed by 6 equidistant nails.
The top is fixed to the cabinet by two pressed steel black-painted brackets.
