Electro-mechanical Wall Machines
Re: Electro-mechanical Wall Machines
Hi Stu
I have got myself a Jamiesons Starlet that i am going to rebuild ... its slightly different to the one that you have in the video in that it has a Bell also the selector seems to have been rebuilt at some point as it is on a clear plastic sheet instead of the paxolin board
Please could i ask you for some advice
I need to replace some of the GPO relays ...
Do you know if there a specific type ( ohms / model number etc ... ) that Jamiesons used ?
and would you have any Electrical drawings available for the Jamiesons machines that could help me with the fault finding ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated Love your youtube channel ... very entertaining and informative and im always looking forward to the next installment
all the best ...

Re: Electro-mechanical Wall Machines
Hello Dicky Wink, It's not Stu who does the videos, Stu is a friend of mine who has managed to get most of my machines fully working As i know nothing at all about these electrical items, The Starlet in my video has now been sold , Glad you enjoy watching my videos of the machines, I enjoy doing them , The right machines are now getting harder to find, but hopefully we will have another video film soon.

Hi Rippys and sorry about the mixup ... and also for asking for info in the wrong part of the forum ( which i realised after i had posted but could not delete ) yes your Videos are great and very enjoyable ... love the fact that you show the internals as well as the game running ... thankyou for sharing your collection ...
i have bought some Nos GPO relays and im planning on rebuilding the Starlet and drawing a wiring diagram for it, which i will post here when completed ... so hopefully it will also help others in the future
again many thanks and keep up the good work

The wiring diagram would be a great help to me. I've got an Autofruit, which is almost identical to your machine, that needs a rewire.

As always Rob, your videos are as excellent as your taste in amusement machinery.

I'll second that, with still a love for playing them, after all that's what they are for isn't it?
