Bell Fruit slots video

Postby steinslots » Tue Jun 30, 2015 8:42 pm

Hi,

I found this nice video online made by Bell Fruit who of course had a good line in producing good old british mechanical slots! (Don't skip through the video or it will stop).

Howdy!
I posted this a couple of years ago in the Bell Fruit thread.

There's a second video with a potted history of the Bell Fruit Manufacturing Co., of Nottingham:

Enhanced screen captures of "Mablethorpe's Latest Amusement Arcade" (late '60s).

I spy six late period Wonders machines, three Bally bandits, some Brenco bandits, an Easy Push?, a Greyhound Derby...

That top picture is wonderful.

The curved glass and the neon, the sort of shapes you don't appreciate until they are gone.

I used to look after an arcade in Wisbech which had a similar frontage.
