Brilliant on so many levels!

Filmed entirely on location in Paul Coppin's workshop and a special appearance from Badpenny with a screwdriver and large hammer.

Now over to the rest of you to decide which real machine it resembles the most.

I remember a vending machine from the 1970s that vended a pint of milk in a glass bottle and orange juice in the same machine.
I think Penguin books had a vending machine also for their books.
How many different types of vending machine are there?

There must be almost as many different vending machines as products to vend!
I recall a soft drinks machine at the swimming baths with a large dial for selecting a drink. My mate took great delight in concocting mixtures of cola, lemon and cherry aid, etc. by turning the knob mid vend.

Over here in Gibraltar most of the vending machines are made by Wurlitzer.

A far fall from their stylish 1015

In 1968 there was a machine that vended a bag of chips outside Wimbledon Speedway. I once saw inside it and it did actually dip (I think part cooked) chips into a pan of hot fat! It always seemed to me to be the most unhygienic machine possible, the hardest to keep stocked and the easiest to break down. It was gone in about two months. A quick check on the net turns up a brand new chip vending machine that cooks the chips while you wait. Germany seemed to have a love affair with vending machines in the '50s. They included such oddities as a coal vending machine and an egg vending machine and, of course, as we have documented before, there was a British made Whiskey vendor that dispensed whiskey in a glass, but the prize must go the Japanese with their used panty vending machines :woops:

But this must be the strangest of them all - an anger release vending machine. You pay your money, pick your china plate and the machine breaks it for you, leaving you oh so relaxed
