After some prompting from Clive last week, I finally got around to visiting Tim Hunkin's marvellous collection of satirical amusement machines at his Novelty Automation arcade in London, 1a Princeton St., WC1R 4AX. They're housed in a handsome old building called Tudor House, five minutes walk from Holborn tube station, and well worth going out of your way to see.

I love the way he combines elements of other well known slot machines into his creations and I'm very impressed how robust and reliable they seem to be. Only one was out of order at the time. Years of experience must help. It was a Saturday and a steady flow of visitors were enjoying the fun.

All machines work on special tokens purchased from the desk. Some require two.
