Although this is not coin operated, I hope everyone agrees that this machine's mechanism earns it a place here. It's certainly the best visual mechanism I can recall.

1927 Seeburg KT

Post by yaksplat »

Here's something I ran across in the train station at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. Unfortunately it didn't work, and I didn't take more pictures, much less a video clip. It was from the old penny arcade that they used to have on main street until they turned it into a store back in the 90s.

A quick search resulted in find a video of the machine in operation:

If you want to see this sort of thing working, here's the place to go! http://www.placedelamusique.org/
Unfortunately, not generally open to the public... but it's something to see.
