Thanks for that Jeremy; yes on the 29th of May it will be the big 60 for me.
And I remember the ten shilling notes very well, my first weeks wage amounted to just four of them and my first machine, a beromat cost me the princely sum of £7 and I went on the bus all the way to Blackpool and back to collect it.
How times have changed.
