Welcome new member
Congats "ballymad" on joining the number one site in UK for slots, come in, pull up a pinball tell us your interests, spin us a line, bamboozle us with a few lies ........... we'll believe you!
Re: Welcome new member
Well I'm almost a heathen to you lot!!!
My interest is in Bally elec/mech slots.
I have always loved bandits so I decided I needed a new hobby. Well being an electrician I decided Bally electros would be good place to start.I have bought 2 from eBay. The first needs a hopper motor but all else works well.
The 2nd works well but the usual no lock and the feature on top doesn't work so I have plenty to keep me going.
The only problem I have is the wife - she won't have them in the house so were banished to the shed!!!

Re: Welcome new member
I like Bally EMs as well. I have two, and a lot of parts in the garage, and for parts I can't get I've learned how to make them. I stop short of winding a hopper motor, though
Re: Welcome new member
it seems that i will have to be making some myself!!
which brings me to the chrome frame that holds the bottom glass in on a bally
would it be a bad thing if theses were replaced with say aluminium ones perhaps in a brushed finish
or do you think it would be a detraction from the value or appeal of the machine
