Hi Bammers ....

Hearty cheers it's great to have you on board.

Your idea is a great one. I'm sure if there's one available our guys will let you know.
I know one of our most active members recently bought one so they are out there.

To help the process, where are you?

Born in Halifax, West Yorkshire, UK... That's where my granddad has his betting shops on Crown Street above what used to be Burtons Menswear & is now a McDonald's..

I live & work in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

I should have posted on here at the time, but about a month ago there was one in an auction in Sussex for sale, finished at around 460 pound mark..... They do come up from time to time. Do have one, but want to keep... Good luck with your hunt.

I don’t remember your granddads betting shop, but I do remember Pearl Palin’s dance hall being above Burtons in the 1960s, Happy Days!... as to Mucky Donald’s I was in there last week with the grandkids. Will let you know if I see an Honest Joe allwin for sale.

Hey Slotalot - I didn't know Google Street View had a nostalgic 60s setting.

I should think it more likely it's from his personal collection of photos taken at the time he interviewed the grandson of Barney Chipslicer who hand carved the button holes for Burtons and lived at 42 Manhole Ave which is currently an ironing board shop.
Don't miss the next instalment in Jerry's comic.

Mine is a very old computer, so everything is a little out of date

Daveys auction in Poole, see picture below. Looked an honest machine '!' and reasonable price, about £550 including commission...

Good hunting.

Hi,
Hopefully you have found an Honest Joe to buy, but if not, try messaging this person through YouTube http://m.youtube.com/user/supershotbattymanbor?gl=GB&hl
He may be a member in here. It might not be for sale but all you can do is ask.

All the best,
Giles.

Bammers,

If you have not yet purchased Honest Joe, take a look at: Spielautomat Honest Joe Allwin.

It's on the German Ebay but might be a deal once the dust clears. Good luck.

Take a look at this:
Ebay item: 370788606177. Just in case you haven't found one yet.
Just to clarify, I have no link in anyway to this machine or the owner.

Bammers, don't give up. Longer it takes to find the more you'll appreciate it.
