Where are they now?

Post by badpenny »

I was scrolling through the membership and a name or two suddenly jumped out. !PUZZLED!
My sozzled brain stirred with memories but none recent. :!?!:

Nothing inferred.
It's simply a personal thing based on my recalling them posting.
A little delving showed a few went silent and some seemed to suddenly drop off the end of the pusher shelf never to be seen again. :-(

Yorkshire Pudding
Bryansjim
Margamatix
Steinslots
stoxman22
longbobongo
Bent Copper
Rippyspennyarcade
Fredslilja
Yaksplat
Bandito
Grabber
Toibs
dpolley

That was after a mere ten minute search if I spent longer I'm sure I'd find more.
I hope you're all well and not in the big arcade in the sky or anything untoward like that :tarah:

A little research shows that 4 of them worked at Westminster on MP's expenses, 3 were responsible for telecomunications at the News of the World and the other 7 produced Top of the Pops in the 1970's. All last seen boarding a plane for somewhere warm.

Glad you made it back unmolested Bandito. Not such an appalling rate of attrition: Rippy posted on another thread only hours before BP was giving him the last rights, Fredslilja remains a regular visitor and the Grabber's probably lost his password again.

Phew ........... that's a relief, I was beginning to think I was the only one not winning the lottery.

I'm still lurking in the background and reading the site everyday. I should contribute more, in fact it can be a early New Year resolution. :)

The last time I saw Bryans Jim he was selling off most of his machines. I bought several off him. No idea what Yorkshire Pud is up to these days. He had a cracking collection of Bryans machines. I haven't seen any come up for sale from him.

You won't be interested in the late Jimmy Savel's collection then - loads of Elevenses (although some look 12), a couple of kiddy rides, and a flick ball (needs tlc). He's dead now, so it's an allwin situation for him, although a few others might lose their small change in the near future. Oh, and there is a huge mystery fun house for sale, it's called the BBC !!>*<!!

Stop press - Lord Patten is available but I'm not sure if he's a Pusher or a clown catcher.

I'm delighted to advise that I've just exchanged interwebs with Bob (K) who is well.
I can only surmise he accidentally locked himself inside the enormous & gorgeous 1930s crane/grabber he has, whilst undertaking maintenance. Either that or the top shelf of ornate & rare cast iron trade stimulators collapsed and pinned him down recently.
(regs to you jingle BTW)

I'm still here as well. Put a post up a couple of weeks ago don't you know... No one replied (fades out with echo).
I would have been at Coventry but I am at work Sunday.

Yes please. I have made a copy of the part from what was left of the bits but it isn't right. The game play is incorrect so I could do with seeing a good one to make sure. Could also do with the wiring diagram. I got part of one from Harold but the cam switch bit is missing.
