How simply splendid, and thank you very much for inviting us.
Looking at the map I think our nearest members are going to be in Australialand.
Perhaps they could advise us if their diaries are free?
However if instead we all went perhaps we could get a discount on a charter plane and Mr Son of Peter could drive it?
BP .....

Reminds me of the ATEI (Amusement Trade Exhibition International) expo that was held in the UK at Olympia I got to attend back in 1980. My father was an operator so manged to get a few tickets to use while we were on a family holiday to England and Europe back then. And just so happened to fall right on my 11th b-day in late Jan. My fave b-day of all time! Dad had to sneak me in as he only had tickets for himself and my older brother. Was an orgy of game-play and fast food all day. Can still remember some of the cutting edge and rare prototype machines.

In fact our nearest member is in Reunion Island and is a mere 4310 miles from the fair, our nearest "down under" member is 4628 miles and our nearest USA member is 7504 miles away.
Anyway, I don't see why we should have to pay as we would surely be guest speakers - my talks on "The Mills hi-top and its effect on the England football team's defensive system" and my well received "The devil, was he all bad?" can be ready at a moment's notice

John, my metal image of you dashing around the sky akin to 'Biggles' in a good old fashioned aircraft has gone forever

My view of John has always been "string and waxed paper" when it comes to flying, not "metal".John, my metal image

I promise to wear my long flowing white silk scarf with the cockpit window open.
