That looks easy enough to make yourself Nigel. Guessing the mech is all die cast. Be easiest to cut the thing by hand from a block of aluminium as doesn't need to be very fine tolerances. The last 4 years I've have a Metal mill and Lathe to speed up the process and quality. But before that just used a hacksaw, hand files, drill press and vice. Amazing what you can do with just those tools.

Here's some parts I made for a French 1930s "Le Pont Transbordeur" crane that had terminal pot metal cancer. The turntable had crushed the four rollers and the rear bracket keeping the chains in check was toast.

Might also be worth speaking to a local machine shop, as I'm sure they could quite quickly turn something like that out for you, for a reasonable price?

we put some trinkets in so my son could demonstrate how he could win his mum a mother day gift!

i have just acquired more repro trim parts (all starbursts for side and lower doors) as well as this Original cast iron Buckley treasure Island trap door. PM me if you need anything??
